However, the weight of your referral considers your relationship (e.g., a manager's insight may be weighted differently than a peer's) and the specific context you provide about their skills and experience (like relevant projects or achievements). Providing detailed context strengthens your referral.
What happens if multiple people refer the same candidate? Who gets the reward?
WYN rewards proactiveness and quality. In cases where multiple people refer the same candidate for the same role, the reward typically goes to the first referrer who engages with the process, provided quality standards are met.
How is my referral tracked? Can I see the status?
Yes! You will be able to track each referral you make through your own dashboard on your profile.
Is there a limit to how many referrals I can make or how much I can earn?
No, there's no limit to the number of referrals you can make or the amount you can potentially earn. However, WYN emphasises quality. Your 'Credibility Score' heavily reflects your track record of making successful and relevant referrals.
What is the Credibility Score and how does it work?
This score (Out of 5) reflects your value as an expert and referral source, focusing on quality and engagement, not just volume.
It's built on several weighted areas:
  • Candidate Outcome & Engagement: (Most weighted) Tracks referred candidate progress (signup, interviews, offers).
  • Platform & Process Engagement: Measures your activity, responsiveness, and updates within WYN.
  • Domain Expertise & Historical Track Record: Considers your verified expertise and past referral success rate.
  • Candidate Relationship Depth: Gives more weight to referrals based on close working relationships (e.g., manager vs. acquaintance).
Your final score aggregates these components. You can see a full breakdown and track your referrals on your personal dashboard.
How do I get referred for jobs on WYN? Do I need an invitation?
Currently, WYN Careers is invite-only during our Beta phase. You can request access here.
Once you have access, you can free browse roles. To apply, you'll need a referral for that specific role – you can easily invite someone from your professional network via the platform to act as your referrer.
How does WYN protect my privacy when I apply or get referred? Who sees my profile?
Your privacy is paramount. Unlike platforms such as LinkedIn, WYN does not have a public profile search function. You maintain complete control over who sees your profile details, who you invite to act as your referrer, and who you choose to refer.
Can I see who referred me for a role?
