2. Data We Collect

Referrers:
  • Name, email, phone number
  • LinkedIn profile or professional history
  • Referral submission history
  • Bank details for payments
  • KYC/AML documentation (if applicable)
Candidates:
  • Name, email, phone number
  • CV, work history, LinkedIn profile
  • Job preferences and availability
  • Referral source and contextual comments
Companies:
  • Business contact name, email, and phone
  • Job descriptions and hiring preferences
  • Billing information and payment history
3. How We Collect Your Data
We collect data:
  • Directly from you (e.g., when you create an account, refer someone, are referrer for a role, apply for a job, or contact us)
  • Through LinkedIn or public professional profiles
  • Through our platform’s usage (e.g., activity logs, referral performance)
  • From clients (e.g., interview outcomes, offer decisions)
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
  • Connect candidates with relevant roles via referrals
  • Generate AI-driven rankings and summaries of referred talent
  • Facilitate payments between companies and referrers
  • Improve our services and monitor referral quality
  • Meet legal obligations (e.g. tax, AML)
We do not sell your data. We do not use data for automated decision-making without human oversight.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
Our lawful bases for processing include:
  • Consent – when you sign up, refer, or apply
  • Legitimate interests – operating our platform effectively
  • Contractual necessity – to fulfill payment or hiring obligations
  • Legal compliance – where required by regulators
6. Sharing and Transfers
We share your data only:
  • With companies reviewing referred candidates
  • With referrers you’ve been introduced by (summary-level only)
  • With payment processors (e.g. for payouts)
  • With regulatory authorities when required
We may transfer data outside the UK. In such cases, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Data Retention
  • Candidates & Referrers: 24 months from last activity
  • Companies: 6 years for accounting compliance
You may request deletion at any time by contacting us at privacy@wyn.careers.
8. Your Rights
Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to:
  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion ("right to be forgotten")
  • Object to processing
  • Request data portability
We will respond to all requests within 30 days.

We store data using Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets). Access is limited and protected by encryption, MFA, and internal controls.
